WordPress Member List Plugin

I need a way to display profile pictures of members and sort them by several criteria including religious denomination, male, female, etc. When the picture is clicked on it should take someone to the members profile page. I am currently trying to use the Members List plugin to accomplish this, but the results are not exactly what I want.
