X-cart Cart.php Redesign
We would like to have “gift wrap” and “add gift card” options
added to the checkout section of our existing XCart (V. 4.1.12)
Ecommerce site, along with a streamlinging redesign.
Please see attached files of our old checkout and our proposed
new checkout screens.
As you can see from the attached files, we need the following changes:
-The “gift wrap” price will be taken from a new field you create in table xcart_products. The price may be different for each product. A boolean in xcart_products you create will control visibility of the checkbox and text.
-If the “gift wrap this item” box is checked, it will change the boolean in xcart_order_details to “true” and update the price accordingly.
-”from”, “to”, “message” and the “include a free message” selection will update new fields in xcart_orders that you create.
-Clicking any of the “update” buttons on the page will update all fields on the entire page. IE: if you enter a coupon code and change product quantity, and click “update” on only one, both changes will take effect.
-clicking “checkout” will also apply any changes made anywhere on the page.
Additional requirements:
-Must be compatible with all modifications on our site, most notably
“On Sale” and “One Page Checkout” modules.
-The code you use must be open source; no Ioncube encoding, please.
The winning bid will be provided access to a test server for development and deployment. Once completed, send us a list of changed files and we will roll the update into the production site. Please only bid if you have experience, and show me ecommerce websites that use PHP/MySql/X-Cart. Don’t just send me a list of unrelated work.
