Web Video Editing + Chroma Key

November 8th, 2009

You’d get video from a HD camcorder *physically mailed to you* on CD/DVD from mexico, as the network connection is slow!

Each video episode is 10-30minutes in length, of a single person talking in front of a green screen.

(simple) Edits required to the video.

Design/Find a suitable, back drop for the video, the source will be shot in green screen/chroma key. Composite these videos with that backdrop.

Color Correct and AutoContrast, adjust Gamma of the source (if needed) to best match web viewing.

Insert fade-out to black at end.

Add semi-transparent title over bottom of video. Similar in visual appearance to Engadget’s upper right multimedia box. http://www.engadget.com/2009/10/30/motorola-droid-review/

Render a preview 3 minute video to get approval on color, deliver via net (you can use our S3 if necessary)

CONVERT:
Convert to Flash compatible H.264/Mpeg-4 at Low (60%) Medium (80%) and High (100% of original dimensions) with a high quality tool like Sorenson Squeeze, Adobe Media Encoder

Up load finalized video trainings to our Amazon S3.

If the work is good there will be ongoing work, about 4 every 1-2 weeks, for a total of 30 videos. They would have the same needs and delivery.

30% upfront, 70% in escrow.
