Revert Function Zen Comparison

Programmer did some work on October 15th.
Since then the custom function dissappeared from our site (show a special gift icon in admin when user selects gift at checkout and now “New Products for October” appears when it was hidden before.)
Programmer ignores attempts at contact and reasoning and dissapeared.
I need candidate to compare current entire site and backup I have from before Oct 15th and weed out why the functions above were lost with intent to get them working again.
Gift Icon and Record of gifts upon checkout.
New Products section to be hidden.
