Phpbb/joomla Template Design

Hello,
I need to have a template set designed for a unified web site, featuring a front page and articles section operated in Joomla, and a forum operated in phpBB. The right design will provide for a seamless experience between these software platforms. Both installations are from most recent stable releases. Customer will provide logo and basic color scheme.
Please PM with link(s) to similar work. Would prefer to submit 2-3 basic graphic mockups prior to coding the templates.
