I need a PHP script to maintain a simple MySQL DB.

The DB consists of a name field and six fields containing a “1″ or “0″.

I need a text form to add either more names by themselves and or change names already in the DB and set one of the other six fields to a “1″ using six radio buttons.
If a name is already in the DB, then only one of the six fields will be updated based on which radio button is selected.

I need to generate reports of names based on which of seven radio buttons are selected. One radio button is for a list of names with all six fields containing a “0″.
The other six radio buttons look for a “1″ in one of the six fields. If more than one of the six radio buttons are selected then it will act as an AND statement and display names that have a “1″ in all the fields selected.

I also need a lookup search form that displays all the names searched found in the DB along with sortable columns for the name and other six fields.

We need a website designer to execute our landing page and inner template design using HTML, CSS, Javascript (integrate one API, iPaper), and JQuery for our website. Must also be able to work with PHP output to integrate it where necessary, as the design is heavily reliant on multiple php functions. Our PHP/backend developer has recently completed his work and will work with you to integrate it.

The site is an online document marketplace. Users have the ability to browse documents for sale, to purchase with paypal, or upload their own documents to be made available in the “marketplace” and earn income (which we pay via paypal).

The landing page: must be visually appealing, describing each of the four different benefits of our service. Depending on where the users mouse is (where the mouse rolls over), a different benefit will display. Please see mint.com to understand what we mean with this “rollover” display. These four “tabs” of information are shown in the attached images, “landingsample(1-4).jpg”. We would like these to fit in with a background theme similar to that shown in landingMAIN.jpg.

Upon clicking through the landing page, the user will be prompted at the inner template to either register (simple form, already prepared by our developer) or sign in. After this, they will reach the inner template (sample shown in innersample1.jpg) with links: “Marketplace”, “Add course”, “Upload”, and “Account” (see image). When clicked, these must display their respective functions within the template.

Marketplace: PHP displays a vertical list of documents based on user’s course list, each with a title, rating, and clickable preview file, which should horizontally align. Each individual document links to it’s own page (still within the inner template) where the user can click a button to check out via paypal. After purchasing the document, the document’s page now displays the full document via Scribd’s iPaper.

Add Course: A search field where user enters a course name and number, PHP displays a matching list, and the user can click to add the course to his account.

Upload: A form by which the user can upload a document, set a price, enter a class/category/other information, and upload to the marketplace.

Account: Where the user can check their purchased documents, selling documents, and basic account info (PHP generated).

These are the basics, other minor things would include a Terms of Service page (displayed in inner template), privacy policy, etc.

We are fast-moving and based in California, and would like to be in close contact during the design via email, skype, IM, chat etc. to speed it up both on our end and your end.

We are hoping design will not take any longer than a week’s work with quick, clear communication as such… although we are not sure how reasonable this estimate is.

I need a complicated query written from a postgreSQL database. Ill try and explain what i need and how i think it might be done but im not familiar with SQL queries so you might have a better, easier method.

SQL Query 1)
I have a large database and a record is inserted with a timestamp and also a $ amount and a unique ID in a table, there is other columns other than timestamp and $ amount and ID but these are the only ones we need. There might be anywhere up to 500,000 records in total in the table but i would like a query that returns based on the 12 months of the year so it would be 12 queries in total, 1 for january, february, march and so on. I guess the query itself will be almost identical except for the month date range so once you do one the other 11 will be easy.

What the query should do is search all the records for that month and find records where the timestamp had no more than 1 hour between that hand and the last hand.

For example if i have record id 1-100 and every timestamp had less than 1 minutes between each record then these would be grouped together as 1 session as none exceeded 1 hour.

If the 101st id timestamp was 1hr 10mins after the last hand then this would be a new group or session and not part of the last hand.
Ill make it clear why we need to break these up into sessions later.

If there was another break of 1hr and 14mins to the next record no 102 then record 101 would be 1 hand on its own in the session, then from record 102-156 there was several 10 mins between some timestamps but no timestamp was more than 1 hour difference from the one directly before that so all the records from 102-156 would now be a new session.

We would now have 3 sessions
1-100
101
102-156

As i mentioned before every record in there has a timestamp, ID and amount either positive or negative. The query would need to allow me to search through a session in the order the hands were created and calculate the amount and if the amount is -300 (or whatever amount i decide) then every record from ONLY THAT SESSION/GROUP after the point where it exceeds -300 should be calculated and the result of how much the total was after it reached -300 should be put in a new Table in the database along with the 1st hand timestamp and the last hand timestamp FROM ONLY THAT SESSION and the total records in that session and finally the total records after the -300 was hit.

So the new table (lets call it Exceed Table) would show
UniqueID
Total_after_exceed (AFTER PREVIOUS TOTAL EXCEEDED -300)
1st_Timestamp (from that session group and not the whole month)
last_Timestamp (from that session group and not the whole month)
Total_records – of all hands in that session/group
Total_records_after (-300 was exceeded until the last record in the session_

WHERE IT DIDNT EXCEED -300 during a session it should just skip that and move to the next session and run the test. At the end of it i will have a table with all the info i mentioned above and then this is the final query.

It should calculate the total loss for the month for Total_after_exceed in the Exceed table.

With the code, i would need some commenting added are some guide where to change the amount from -300 to whatever i want and also i presume i would need to enter the database name somewhere in the code.

And id also need instructions where in PGADMIN or whatever i will enter the first query to divide the sessions up and create the Exceed Table and then somewhere i can type in the query to get the result of Total_after_exceed for the month and i presume this is done PGADMIN in the query tool.

Again there may be a much easier way of doing this, so please feel free to suggest, the main thing i want is the total from each session AFTER the session exceeded -300.

Id also like details of each sessions 1st and last timestamp where it exceeded -300 that i can review from a table, hence the reason i came up with the Exceeded table and finally the total record count and count after it hit -300 for that session.

I can provide you with a sample database if you need it, ill backup the database and let you restore it on your PC. Ill send you a smaller one though as youll only need a few records id imagine.

Finally we need to consider each monthly search will have up to 70k records so i dont want timing out or crashing.

We’ve developed a custom system that’s fairly easy to use, but the client needs reference videos. We need someone to learn the system and create videos. Doesn’t need audio it can have text or we can add the audio later.

CPI Integration of our webshop with the payment gateway Secure ePayments provided by HSBC UK. Webshop is fairly simple, selling only 3 different products.

I am planning to make a localized directory of medical practitioners. This site would allow users/viewers to contact the doctors, book appointments, look for a particular doctor within their area and so on. I also wanted to include a rating system for each doctor along with a comment option.

This site would have numerous functions as well as the directory and it might have to be built up in phases depending on how a programmer sees to be able to complete this. I am not whatsoever knowledgable in webdesign nor programming, but i have a “dream” and would like the help of someone or a team of individuals that can help to make this come true.

Another portion of this site would include a symptom checker, i would like it to be as close to the checker found on the webmd.com site under the “symptoms” link. it doesnt have to be as pretty, but moreso functional and user friendly. although i would prefer it to be as close to theirs as possible. this would “diagnose” the user and refer them to the appropriate facility based on their location, doctor rating, etc. without redirecting them off from my ste.

It would be nice to have an “ask advice” option where the user can actually chat live or via email with a doctor.
each doctor would have an option of upgrading their listing to a more detailed one where they can add pictures, information about their specialties, map of location, qualifications, etc.

Also i would like another section of this site to be dedicated to medicines, vitamins and medical supplies. although one cant just log onto a website and buy prescriptions drugs. they would only have access to vitamins and certain med supplies. although doctors might (depending on their rights) can buy medications and other medical supplies that arent offered to the users.

This would also require a 4-tier login system whereby there will be:

ADMIN – backend users such as website developers, myself, etc

DOCTOR – purchase power, access to exclusive doctor-to-doctor forum, confirming appointments, posting articles/editorials, creating/updating personal profile, etc

USER- person who registered can rate doctors, comment, book appointments, regulated purchase power, chat with doctor, personal profile, etc.

VIEWER/BROWSER – can just browse the site, use the directory, view ratings and comments, use the symptom checker, basically everything wiithout being able to actually modify the site at all

Also a news feed would be required of this site. latest news in medical discoveries, etc. also with comments, ratings, and option to share with social networking sites such as myspace, twitter, facebook, etc. Users should also be able to search for particular articles based on doctors that wrote them, symptoms, and basically by any keywords they plug in

And finally a portion dedicated to “lifestyles” whereby one can see information about different fitness programs, diets, nutritional information (“foodometer” on webMD website, but this is only a new addition to theirs and looks to be a HUGE collection of information and might not be able to be included it on our site for the first of couple phases, once again I leave that all up to whats possible by the developers). There coule be a household remedies portion there as well, where people can see various remedies suggested by people. this might also have to be monitored by a doctor or a group of doctors before posting, just to make sure someone doesnt post something that can truely be harmful and i dont want to even spell out worst case scenarios!

Well, this is my plan and am waiting to hear from someone as to what this can cost, in phases and/or as a whole. Thank you!

I need to create a Cable Assembly Wizard with multiple cascading drop downs. I’ve created a page at http://www.msp-technology.com/store/pc/wizard.asp with the required drop downs. What I need done is to add the following logic to the none-cascading drop downs:

1. User chooses the Connector A Series Type. This determines the following: Possible Connector A Interfaces; Connector B Series Types; Cable Types

2. User chooses the Connector A Interface. This determines the possible Connector A Orientation

3. User chooses the Connector A Orientation. This does not determine any other choice.

4. User chooses the Connector B Series Type from a list determined in Step 1. This determines the possible Connector B Interfaces (same rule as in Step 1).

5. User chooses the Connector B Interface. This determines the possible Connector B Orientation

6. User chooses the Connector B Orientation. This does not determine any other choice.

7. User chooses the Cable Type from a list determined in Step 1.

8. User enters the Cable Length and unit of measurement

9. User clicks the Continue button and a picture of the cable assembly appears as well as the part number.

10. User click on the picture or part number to go to a pricing page for that assembly (essentially partnumber.html or partnumber.asp)

Other Information:

A. Pull-downs are grayed out or inactive until input is required. For example, the cable types are known after Step 1, but I want the user to wait to select it until Step 7.

B. Each choice in Steps 1-8 determines a portion of the part number. For example, a possible cable assembly would be part number BN-BJG-S-BN-BJG-S-100-125. Each number between the hyphens corresponds to the pull-down.

C. The Pictures displayed in Step 9 are determined by the three Connector pull-downs. Steps 1-3 determine the picture by #10. Steps 4-6 determine the picture by #12. The picture/line by #11 is the same no matter what cable you choose. Pictures 10/12 will have names the same as that portion of the part number (i.e. BN-BJG-S.jpg)

D. Although the pull downs are not dependent on each other, they do contain the total amount of options for that pull down. Obviously, once the pull downs are cascading, the number of options will be reduced.

E. As the dependencies will not change, they can be hard coded or part of a MySQL or MS SQL database, whatever the programmer prefers.

I am looking for some assistance with the database/dynamic content portion for a small community newspaper website to post monthly feature stories (via an admin panel).

A very user-friendly password protected admin panel would allow the administrator to add/delete/edit/post stories to the datatbase. This backend would have two areas…

1. A general listing page of stories with the option to add/delete/edit/post stories
2. The edit/add pages where the user would input content into the form

The form would allow for story data to be input as HTML. Fields would include:

- story title
- subtitle
- author
- story
- short story teaser (for table of contents page)
- upload a photo (.jpeg)

Content from the administrator selected stories (including title, subtitle (optional), author (optional) and short story teaser) would be generated into a table of contents page similar to: http://www.washingtonparent.com/toc.php but with the short story teaser and a “read more” text link.

The read more text link and story title would both link to the individual story pages similar to:

Each individual story page would also include options to email the story to a friend and to a print-friendly page that would open the story in a new window without the website navigation and just the basic logo at the top of the page.

The dynamically created pages would be based on a template HTML design that I could provide; a cell of the table would be set aside for this dynamic content. (I would need to be able to update this template as needed.)
