We have a website that offers google map like services, but it’s for sales leads. The website has the following pages:

1) Main Page – Login

The next page determines on what sort of account the person has, let me explain. There will be several different types of accounts:

Master
Slave
Guest

The master account is the main account that creates the slave accounts.

The slave account is stripped down from the amount of services the master account has.

The guest account is even more stripped down, with simple read-only features.

So the way things will work is:

Navigation on the left side and big map on the right, yup you guessed it just like how google maps has it. We need something that will attractive to the users, and professional at the same level. Ofcourse there are some navigation links in the header and footer, but the main navi links are on the left side.

If you could make something quick and do a print screen or whatever works for you to show me that would be great because I may just be keen on hiring you for the job.

I want to get this done in a timely fashion, so please serious bidders only.

I would like for you to use the CSS formatting seen on the homepage as model to use on the other pages. I expect good, consistent use of h1,h2,p, etc tags as opposed to using span tags to apply the font formatting. Please use the same fonts sets throughout all the pages

PARTS MANAGEMENT
Currently have a script developed to enter component parts via an admin system and display them on a front-end.

The system presently records PART NUMBER, NAME and IMAGES with admin system offering options to edit, delete parts and edit, delete images.

Two changes are required:
1. ADDITION OF MANUFACTURER
Require a separate table to be set-up with list of manufacturers, with admin being altered to offer drop-down selection of manufacturers. Will also require options to add / edit new manufacturers to the list.

2. CHANGE OF IMAGE HANDLING
The system currently stores the image the mySQL database; I wish this to be changed to save images in a folder instead (image handling must be implemented to ensure the generation of thumbnails, etc.)

There are currently no products / images in the database.

I need to get my head around using C++ Boost and STL on a linux box.

I’m seeking someone to assist by creating a Linux image inside a virtual PC, using Microsoft Virtual PC or vmWare and supplying it to me.

On this virtual image will be Linux and the C++ Boost and STL libraries setup.

I am also hoping for some source code too – some written applications set up for compiling changes – either
a) stuff you recommend will help or,
b) have written or,
c) part of open source project
d) or just simple Boost tutorials if nothing else

If you were doing web design but used C++ and STL, great.
It may be a good learning angle.

Obviously C++ is using STL and Boost to create stability and speed up the design and debugging process. I am hoping for good examples of this.
The smaller and less complicated the better.
The more comfortable I become with STL and Boost the better.

But I will mention that I have an interest in Finance sector so open source projects in that direction would be good.

But the idea is for you to be able to easily supply what you know and can explain.
