Vbulletin Anti Spam

My vbulletin forum has been blasted with thousands of SPAM messages. I need to clear them all and then need some Anti Spam software installed that will filter SPAM. there are a few plugins out there for vBulletin that I have seen but I need someone who has experience in using this and setting up the API etc. so it works properly.
