Large Seo Project

We have a rather large site that needs some SEO work. There will be at least 100 pages to be SEO’d with the possibility of being up to 200 pages. Please review the requirements below and submit a price per page. Once we determine a price per page based on bids, we will let the bidders we are interested in using revise their bid to reflect the number of actual pages we need SEO work for.

Please note this is all onpage/onsite SEO work. Do not submit “canned” responses on the PMB or in your bid as it will be deleted/removed.

Please provide actual examples of your SEO work (rankings) and what on page work you performed to help achieve these results (yes we know it takes more than just on page changes to rank well), as well as any additional on page SEO tasks we have overlooked in our description that you would recommend.

The site you will be performing SEO on already has the pages built and live on the site. You will be evaluating the current SEO of the pages and making appropriate suggestions for on page SEO changes.

Research & Analysis

1. Analyze each of the assigned pages and determine the most appropriate long tail keywords to be targeted for each page.
2. Research the estimated global searches (google keyword tool or similar tool approved by us) for the proposed keyword phrases to determine whether or not there is a strong enough search demand by users for the phrase.
3. Determine the strength of competition among the search engines for each proposed long tail keyword to eliminate keyword phrases that are unlikely to be ranked for due to strong and established competition.

Implementation
1. After keyword phrases have been determined for a page, create the appropriate meta title, meta description, and meta keywords to be used on the page.
2. Modify the H1 tag of the page to use at least one of the selected targeted keyword phrases.
3. Incorporate a secondary keyword phrase to be used within the H2 page tags.
4. Evaluate the main content of the page and use several keyword phrases or alterations of keyword phrases where appropriate. At times, you may choose to bold a keyword phrase to help signify the importance of the phrase in relation to the content of the page.
6. Provide in context cross linking to other relevant content found on the site that relates to the information discussed on the page.
7. When possible, propose using an image within the page content that relates to the topic being discussed. The image will be properly labeled and named so that it may be found via various image searches within the search engines.
8. Depending on the keyword phrases to be targeted for a certain page, it might be worth investigating renaming the page URL to include the keyword phrase in it. Please suggest the appropriate name of the URL to be used
9. Create a sitemap.xml file and submit it to Google Webmaster Central

Documentation
1. Results of selected keywords from the initial research will be tracked in a spreadsheet and include the estimated monthly searches as well as estimation of difficulty for ranking for the keyword phrase.
2. Spreadsheet will also include a list of on page changes to be made to the H1, H2, meta title, meta description, meta keyword tags, in context cross linking, as well as any image(s) that may be added to the page.
3. Once all SEO research has been completed, you will submit the spreadsheet to us for final review. After we approve your suggestions, we will release you to implement these changes on the site.

This is not an SEO project for beginners, we would like to work with knowledgeable and experienced SEO people. If the winning bidder provides excellent work, we are definitely interested in using long term for other SEO work we have.
