Quickbooks Private Hosting
I am a small tax accounting firm handling a number of QuickBooks clients. Moving the files between our office and the clients is a time consuming and often difficult task.
We would like to have a server, either in-house or virtual, where our clients can sign into it when they use QuickBooks. Due to licensing issues, I assume each client would have their own license and software, but my Quickbooks and their data file would be on our shared server.
There are many Quickbooks hosting sites available, but the cost is too high for most of my small business clients. Is it possible, and cost effective, to setup my own hosting? The key is allowing clients to sign into the server without seeing my other client names. I already have a website, but am not opposed to setting up a complete separate website if necessary.
