Place Image Over A 3d Object

I have a 3d iphone file that I would like an image placed over. The file i purchased is located at http://www.turbosquid.com/FullPreview/Index.cfm?ID=411721&Action=FullPreview I two different images to be placed on the device. One will go one the front one will go on the back. need the image to be placed over the front and the back.
Lastly I would like a short video tutorial showing how I can do this on my own so I can swap out the images.
I am attaching a screen shot of a similar finished iphone with the design over the device.
I want the finished file to be in a 3d file (.3ds, .obj, etc)
