Joomla Module Php Coding Fixx

I have a twitter module and calendar module that is acting up and I believe it is because the version of php running on my server is old. It has PHP 4 and so I need someone who knows php well that can modify the module code so that it can work with a server running PHP version 4. My administrator will not update the PHP version so I have to adapt the code to PHP 4

(There is a security functionality that prevents websites on the server from showing up if they contain coding errors.
