Magento Site Tweaks

I have used Magento to create an ecommerce site for a fabric store. The client would like some tweaks to the template done, as this is the first time I’ve used Magento I need some help.
In brief:
- Remove the image at the checkout (as it doesn’t change colour in relation to the colour of the product selected)
- Add text next to quantity box
