Prefer to work with someone who has skills and knowledge of OSCOMMERCE and PHP. I need someone to help me debug this. I have php5 & I have already added this contribution (Catalog Products PDF Catalog) to my site. I cannot get this catalog to generate in my oscommerce panel (tools/generate catalog) nor can I get it to generate when I go to the website and click on the download link as it gives me a “oops link is broken” HTTP 404 error – meaning it wont load.

The Downloadable catalog link (on the site) shows 0.00MG which means its not even loading into the website.

The only conclusion I can think is that it has to do with the configuration of the setup that I am missing to do correctly – in correctly setting up where to direct the link to download and open the catalog properly as stated in the instructions below. I am very pressed for time or I would try and figure this out as I am hoping it isn’t to difficult.

Need a ticket reseller website, something like acetickets(dot)com or something similar. Its going to be a tickt reseller website. This is how it will work:

1. I will buy tickets from primary market (this has nothing to do with the website, I’m just trying to give you an overview of the site)
2. I will list the tickets for sale in the admin panel (need a system in the admin panel for live chat, editing the blog-yes, there’s a blog- and general site maintenance)
3. People will come to my site, look through tickets, and then buy them
4. If they buy them, they are taken to the checkout area where they can pay.
5. The tickets they bought will be taken off of the website and I will be notified with all their information. The ordering process will be detailed when I choose you as I will need their address, and whether they are picking up the tickets or not.

If you live in the U.S. or any other country where the secondary ticket industry is big you will know exactly how to do this.

There is one more thing that will need to be added to the frontside and admin panel:
This is a going to be a “ticket blast” list. They will give me their phone number and agree to the terms and an hour or 2 hours before the actual event if I have tickets then I will send out a “blast” to everyone on that list. Then they can text back if they want the tickets.

I should have an “exclusive list” for people I know, and good customers which will get the blast first- then I will send out a blast to the “normal list” people.

I should be able to edit lists and move each number between “exclusive” and “normal” and also delete numbers if I want.

In order to sign up for this list, you will need to first get a text that will contain a 5 digit/character message that they will need to enter on the website to verify that this is their number.

We will either be using the celltrust api at celltrust.com, a normal email script where the messages will be coming from “sms(at)mywebsite.com” or the clickatell api at clickatell.com (clickatell is the primary options with the other 2 being back-ups)

The biggest change of this website from the other websites mentioned is that this is only a specific region’s ticket agency. For example, I will only be selling tickets to events in and around NY city (its not NYC, that’s just an example).

Here’s a little more detail:

-Edit venues (this will be used for people to search for tickets)

I’m partnered with an ENGLISH website, and I’m looking to get the website submitted to non-english directories. I know the denial rate will likely be high, but, as the saying goes: nothing ventured, nothing gained.

The catch is: Whoever does the job needs to be fluent in the language their submitting for me. I want native speakers so my page description looks good. I also want the title tag, and the description to be altered somewhat from directory to directory if possible, or at the very least have multiple versions which are mix and matched.

1) Since the database is large 150,000 records, you need to “show” me how to download the database using ssh and create it as a .sql file on the server so that I may send it to you. I cannot provide you with ssh or ftp login info. You will need to give me the proper ssh command to do this.

2) Every record has a State/City field and a seperate State and City field. The last time this was modified, it appears that the individual “state” field is missing on some of the records. I need you to grab the state from the State/City field and insert it into the individual State field.

3) The data is not categorized properly. I need the following done. There is one field which holds classification data. I need to know all the types of classifications in the database. I think there about 10 different types. Then, I need to convert those types into Categories. I will only have 4 categories. So, for example…let’s say one of the records data says “shoes” I will need any records with the data “shoes” to go into a category called Shopping. Once you tell me all the different classifications, I will tell you what category they belong to.

4) I need some data cleaned from the database. It appears there are many records that are not relevant. I’m not sure the best way to do this. If I had a simple way to view the records, then I could do this myself. Perhaps this can be discussed further.

I run a video hosting website that uses lighttpd and mod_secdownload to encrypt downloads. A key and URL is generated when a video view page is loaded and the URL appears in the embed for the video files. We use JWPlayer and the DIVX player for hosting videos (.avi, .mp4, .flv, .divx).

Only thing is, that link can be used multiple times with mod_secdownload until the limit (60 seconds) in our case is up.

We need a way to secure this more and prevent video leeching beacause in the end it costs way too much for bandwidth that isn’t even being used for our website.
