Our client requires an update of the product pages at www.diyinsulation.co.uk – currently the Flash Pricing Slider is populated from an MySQL database hosted on a separate domain.
We wish to replace the Flash pricing Slider with a more conventional Price Break Table, although some flash/java functionality is still required to highlight correct pricing and populate a mini cart.

Site is written in Website Baker (php) mysql
All files exist that curently populate the flash slider on the domain, and population of new table should be relatively straight forward.
Browser will shop as normal and populate a minicart only with 6 fields of data. No Address steps or payment gateway is required as a script will be written at this end to take mini cart data back to remote MySQL database elsewhere.
Main template for pages will need altering slightly to make everything fit well, designs can be provided in PSD format or any other format for imaging.

This is a online blackjack table written in php and flash. The work is already done but I need someone to look over the code and make some improvements.
The first issue is that it is pretty slow sometimes.
The second and the major issue is that I got something in the code causing errors, displaying NaN (not a number) instead of the sum of the cards dealt for example.
The program needs to be failsafe in the way that if it haven’t yet got values from the mysql database it needs to wait for it, I am suspecting this to be the cause of the error.
My apache 2.2.11 is running slow there are a ton of bots and DDOS attacks on it is there a way to block some of the bots and ddos attackes to speed it up some just for apache 2.2.11?

We are a non-profit organization wanting to send an email to our list of 50,000 opt-in email subscribers.
The program Lab1.java can automatically test a sorting algorithm, that can be specified by a command line argument:
java Lab1 quicksort
(the other possibilities for command line argument the program understands are insertionsort and mergesort)
In order to run this program you need to download lab1.zip and compile all the classes.
The program generates 5 random arrays of each size 500, 1000, 1500, …, 10000 and records the average execution time for each size. The partial results and the averages are printed to the screeen and to a file NameOfAlgorithm.dat (this file has most of the lines commented away for the program gnuplot you will be using. The only interesting lines are the ones registering the averages.)
You can warm up for the lab by using Lab1 as above and then plotting the results with gnuplot:
Start gnuplot by choosing gnuplot from the programs menu. It starts a window where you can give commands to gnuplot. To exit just type exit.
Go to the directory where your data files are by typing
gnuplot> cd ‘dirname’
Plot the datafiles by typing
gnuplot> plot “QuickSort.dat” with lines
This will make gnuplot go fullscreen. To return to normal mode press the ESC key and then do Alt-Enter.

Define a class Experiment.java with a little main to test QuickSort for big arrays. Your program should run QuickSort for sizes 50000, 100000, 200000, 400000, 800000. You will then get in the file QuickSort.dat values for T(50000), T(100000), T(200000), T(400000), T(800000). You should find out what approximation of O(N), O(N log(N)), O(N^2) fits your experiments better. This can be done by calculating T(N)/N, T(N)/Nlog(N), T(N)/N^2 for the given sizes and examining which one converges better.
Your class Experiment should extend Lab1 so that in your main you can use all the protected fields and methods (you only have to redefine main!)
