jpeg images only.
image(a) is uploaded to server.
Using GD library, a new copy of image(a) is created, resized and saved as image(b) to a new location.

I need scripting to extract EXIF metadata from a image(a), and then write the extracted metadata to image(b) (embed metadata in to image(b)).
image(b) must retain it’s image dimensions.

Issues:
1.Resizing images through GD Library strips all EXIF data from image.
2.Imagemagick is not an option available.
3.This is for a commercial program. Very few libraries or classes exist that can write EXIF metadata to images, and such known packages can not be used in proprietary applications.

I have an existing php social networking application that I would like to be converted to the Cake PHP framework. The application is almost complete and I would like to use the Cake PHP framework. You must be familiar with php and cake php.

1. The top of the admin page says “Your database appears to need patching to a higher level. See tools-> server information to review patch levels”. I don’t know if that effects anything but it has been there since the upgrade.

2. All of the text files cannot be updated in the Define Pages Editor. I can enter the information like before but none of the information appears on the website. The sample text is all that appears and continues to appear even if I erase it.

3. Subcategories do not appear as icons when people visit the website anymore. The categories appear for selection in the site map style menu on the side of the page, but the boxes are not appearing in the center of the page like before.

4. Cannot add new categories to the website or new manufacturers.
