X-cart Installation On Server
HELLO!
First and Foremost – I know NOTHING about how to install this, however, I will try to answer any questions in regards to the installation or anything else.
Any Suggestions Are Appreciated.
I need X-Cart Gold 4.2.2 php shopping cart software to be installed on a server and tested.
Requirements:
1. You will need to determine which virtual dedicated server and options (economy plan – linux???) from godaddy will work best. Then you will need to tell me so that I can sign up for it. I plan on getting the cPanel unlimited (if that’s best).
2. You will need to download the software from the x-cart site (I have the log-in information).
3. You will need to install this software on the server and any related software/programs necessary to make all aspects of it to work properly (databases, e-mail, order pages, product pages… everything). You will also need to install (?) the SSL certificate (if possible).
I cannot use my current domain name for the site (yet), however, you can use an IP address which I will get from godaddy.
4. You will need to test the site to make sure that it is working properly.
I think that is everything! I will need this done as soon as possible.
