Cre Product Carousel

We have a product carousel that we have hand coded on our CRELoaded store.
We need this carousel to pull products from database rather than via handcoding,
I would be nice if it had a simple admin settings for amount of products, and categories allowed.
We are hoping this will also reduce our page loading time.
Simple task really for a good programmer.
