I want a dynamic restaurant review website – similar to yelp.com. The site will provide information on restaurants in multiple cities, and users will rate and write reviews for various restaurants.

THE PROBLEM SCENARIO

UKTech University is a private university that teaches only computing, IT and related subjects. It is owned by a telecommunications company and was formerly a technical college mainly used for training company employees.

The university has aspirations to becoming a prestigious seat of learning. The parent company is wealthy and so it can afford to invest in state-of-the art ebusiness computing, telecommunications, teaching facilities and ecommerce website. The fees the university charges are higher than other universities. Its entrance requirements are also higher. Nevertheless, it is oversubscribed.

Currently the network manager is studying for a PhD but the research topic is in an area of computing unrelated to networking. The computing and networking staff tend to purchase off-the-shelf products. This means that the relevant university staff has limited in-depth knowledge and often resort to contacting their suppliers when a problem arises.

Geography

UKTech University is an educational establishment housed on a single campus in the UK. The university wishes to open a second campus situated 80km away on the site of a large new complex housing several office blocks. These will house many leading computer and IT companies. The site and the proposed new campus have the support of high-level politicians. In no small part is this due to the university’s chancellor being the wife of a cabinet minister.

I need a simple php/mysql zip-code lookup script which compares zip codes of a mysql database with zip codes of 2 csv files under specified criteria. If a zip-code does not match, a mysql query should be done. The script should be run by a cronjob. All mismatches should be logged in a .txt log file. I need the script asap – meeting the deadline is a must.

I have vbulletin 3.8 and ccbill as my merchant solution. Need seamless interface for user to create account, pay, and set up recurring payments according to variables in subscription manager. Once payment has been approved, user returned to the site logged in and ready to use, and an email confirmation sent to user.

Should the users card fail initially or in any future recurring payments, user disabled and notification to webmaster and email to user. Return fail page with explanation and “Try again” or alternate form of payment again through CCBill.

The script(s) need to interface with “Subscription Manager” within vbulletin to pull subscription values and terms of the particular paid subscription.

Of course all user information must be updated in vbulletin database and accessible via “Administrative” interface including but not limited to subscription logs, transaction stats, usergroup update (from unregistered to registered or back depending on payments status), paid subscription updates in user interface, etc.. .

As for skins (look and feel of interface pages) if they could inherit existing skin, this would be a plus.

I have a DaDa GNU public licensed email script where the user is allowed to have many lists. I have set the default list value to 1 so they can only have one list.

Where they log-in it asks for them to select their list from a drop down menu and I would like this changed so that just the one list name appears without the drop down functionality and the script works the same.
I am providing a small image to illustrate the way it looks now and the way I would like it to look.

Has a Membership subscription component (JoomSuite, JoomMember and JoomUser) that has a registration page.

Require someone to change the process of the system where the registration information is taken AFTER a payment is made, not before.

At the moment, the system asks for all of the information first, and then a payment type is selected.

Also, member login in done through the JoomSuite, not Joomla core, so when logging in, the member needs to login to JoomSuite and then into the Joomla core. I would like the JoomSuite login to automatically pass this information to the Joomla core so the user doesn’t have to login twice.

I need a perl script to ‘look’ at a directory on a linux server and create a ‘tab’ or ‘pipe’ delimited file with the file names in it as well as the directory names.
