Hey guys, I have a fairly advanced stats script which crawls a control file, and also associates each file it is tracking with a developer name. At the moment, this is being done semi-automatically, where I have to manually associate each file with its developer. I’d like that done automatically.

We’ll prob have to go over the best way to do this, but I have scripts already which do most of the work – we just need to combine them correctly.

PLEASE READ EVERYTHING IN DETAIL!

The site has some minor issues that need to be fixed asap. here is a list of problems.

*The site needs to be able to accept all of these file types for video uploading. This is the MOST important problem and I would like this to be fixed FIRST before any of the other issues.

* Windows Media Video (.WMV)
* .3GP (cell phones)
* .AVI (windows)
* .MOV (mac)
* .MP4 (ipod/psp)
* .M4V
* .MPEG
* .FLV (adobe flash)

*The categories on the site need to be fixed to list in alphabetical order.

*There is a problem with the ‘ symbol. Because of this, it will not save some of the files being upload as well as any text that has a ‘ symbol.

*Now the Embed codes for the videos and music also do not work if they have a ‘ symbol in the file name, title, or description.

*On the home page, the video categories drop down menu does not work anymore and needs to be fixed. User are suppose to be able to click on the drop menu and select the category of videos they want to see. Once they click on it it should show the videos of that type from the featured section.

*There is also a problem on the home page that I was told is a “CSS Issue”. When using Internet Explorer, some of the text on the home page get’s cut off. The Text “Featured Videos” and “Videos” is being cut off. Also, for some reason when I pull up the site in my iPhone it the home page looks messed up, but when i click on the other pages they look fine. I think there is just an issue with the index page.

I called a local programmer and he said that a good programmer should be able to fix these small issues in a few hours, a single day at the most. I need this to be completed asap and I’ve already spent all the money I can on this site so all I can afford now is $50. If anyone would like to make a quick $50, then please feel free to bid and let me know. Thanks! I would prefer someone that speaks English well enough to explain things over the phone if needed. I need a script that will do the following:
Will read files from different directories and when it reads it, I will be able to input the title and the author as well as the date. I should also be able to select the category from previously appointed categories.

So basically I want to be able to bulk upload articles to an article manager. I also need a way to delete or modify if necessary.

The content manager itself should be able to display categories for users to see what categories there are and how many article are in that category. I should also be able to say which article would appear on the main page, or at least it should show that last articles submitted. There should be a search function. I would also want to be able to add articles manually like a regular articles contact manager.

So to sumarize, I need an article content manager that functions like the rest of them, but also that will allow bulk uploading and categorizing.

This can be a predone one, one modified or one from scratch, but I need like yesterday. I really do need it ASAP.

I want it modified to where when someone registers on the site, they automatically are registered as a member and an affiliate. They would have the same affiliate ID# and the same member ID#. AS it is now, it uses the same database already.

I am looking for someone to assist with simple data manipulation. I receive information from different sources; either in word or excel format.

This data needs to be manipulated into excel so that I can create a csv file. It is not complicated, but can take a bit of time (20 – 30 min) for each one.

The selected candidate would be responsible to receive the initial word/excel files, manipulate it into the desired excel files, and return those excel files to me.

The source data consists of student’s names, grades, etc and their homeroom teachers. The result is two excel files – One used for importing the student information and the second for importing the class information. Both resultant files have a specific format that you would follow including creating a unique student username with optional password. The username cannot contain special characters. I have more information and examples available.

Turnaround time is important and each data set needs to be prepped and ready within 36 hours of receipt. This data will continue to come in between now and October 1 or so with the heaviest load between August 25 and September 10.

Easiest to pay on an hourly basis because some may take longer than others depending upon the quality of the source.

I want to create a software that makes it possible to scan a document from the office scanner and then save a PDF copy into a specific catalog on our FTP. Its important we can use booth PC and Mac.

The system has to works like this.

1) The client register one account on our homepage
2) Download the scanner software
3) Install the application and config the scanner to their account (same login/password)

I dont know what code language you would like but im open for all your solutions.

The important stuff is to make it possible for people to use their own Scanner and then choose the output / into our FTP.

If you have great knowledge in programming webpages in Ajax i would like to offer the rigt person more work!
