Convert Word Graphic To 300dpi

I have written a 24 pg 8.5 x 8.5 children’s quilt instruction book. I can copy and paste the text onto a layer InDesign CS3, but need to get my word graphics saved as 300 dpi and placed in CS3 also. Help!
