Logistics Reverse Auction
Looking to create reverse auction site for transportation services.
Similar to uShip.com but a more targeted B2B solution.
Suppliers
Would require suppliers registration form with ability to upload images of insurance certificates etc.
Details would need to include truck types, categories of goods carried, account details and so forth.
Would prefer MS solution but prepared to look at opensource platforms
Customers
Capable to entering one off jobs or using csv file to upload multiple jobs.
Requires the option of automatically advising successful bidders of details or requiring manual intervention… i.e. with bid looks too good to be true…
Secure site required
Would like to be able to build Suppliers profile based on performance.
Future ability to integrate GPS information from multiple suppliers
