Addition To Site
Hello,
I need to ad an agency view to my ad network. The base functionality in terms of adding campaigns, creating ads, etc is already there. We will take that functionality from the advertiser module. We will just need to extend and customize the advertiser module to do some standard operations that agencies views typically do.
A user should be able to create a new agency. In this portion they will create all the username and password details as well as all the typical contact information associated with these types of accounts. Should also be able to easily edit, change, save,etc. We can use the tables that we have for the advertiser accounts. We will just need to modify this to accomodate the type of information that agengcies will need to save in terms of federated client information, etc.
We already have functionality in the advertiser section to create adzone, etc.
In the agency section, the user should also be able to do this but also associate as many ad zones as needed to an agency account or federate ad zones based on different client profiles so that they can federate based on site, client, etc in order to manage conversions, billing, etc for their individual clients. An agency just handles accounts for multiple clients. So this portion is like a channel management to organize and manage things…kind of like how it is zone on openx.org. We may actually be able to use some of the open source code from openx to do this and just conform to our gui. However, openz.org code can sometimes be a bit complex and since this is a very small project, it might be easier for us to just code it. It would be great if we can complete this in about 2 weeks tops.
I can give access to the site and code immediately so that we can get started asap. I would like to really start by this coming Tuesday.
