Generate Word Doc By Web Form

is it possible to generate a word document from a web form? I would have the majority of information done in the word template (which can be easily edited) and then information entered into the web form is inserted into the document where appropriate.
When a user clicks to generate, the option to ‘open’ or ‘save’ the document is given.
