Hi, thanks for looking at my project. This should be an interesting one for a clever programmer.
We have a tab-delineated text flatfile database, which contains image URLs in it.
What we need is this — a script which reads the database and then uses imagemagick to do the following:
- Using the URL in a specific field of the database, loads that image into Imagemagick.
- Tells Imagemagick to write the contents of a different field (of that record) as text onto the image.
- Saves the image to a different directory, with the same name.
The text that is being written is a price … so it needs to be formatted appropriately … with a $ in front of it, and if the text contains exactly 5 digits, there should be a comma between digits 2 and 3 (i.e., $23,000).
That’s it … the only other trick is that the image URLs are all for remote sites, but the photos are all in a folder on our server. Therefore, the script needs to only look for the actual filename in the directory on our server.
For example … if the image URL is:
http://imgs.getauto.com/imgs/ag/ga/29/24/1/JM3ER29L970132924-1.jpg
The actual file the script should be loading is:
http://www.autopages.com/feedphotos/JM3ER29L970132924-1.jpg
In other words, all images are in our /feedphotos/ directory.

The problem is that I use Joomla and for some reason Joomla doesn’t like flash. I have tried different plug-ins and shit but nothing works…I need this done today. Once it is done, I can take care of the xml links…I just need it in the top center of the homepage….see attached. Can anyone do this tonight? I know this is a quick job if you know what your doing.

One last thing…it has to open in the same window…I only want it to be on the front page for now…unless you are so good you can take the flash file and make it so when they click the state it zooms the state and highliughts county in the same way, then city…that would be ideal…if you can do that then I will obviously pay more. But the most immediate thing is that I get it on there and working properly.

Requiring simple php script where user can first fill out form with this information (Office lacation – dropdown box, Name, Tech#, Email).
After form is complete user can take personality test. This is how I need the test to work. Based on Myers Briggs Personality test I need to have 60, 80, 100 or 120 questions in my test.
There are 8 personality types in one of 4 groups.
Group 1 = (X) Extroversion – (I)Introversion
Group 2 = (S) Sensing – (N)Intuition
Group 3 = (T) Thinking – (F) Feeling
Group 4 = (J) Judging – (P)Perceiving
Here is an example question and how the script should work using the above grouping and 8 personality types.
Question #1 – Your favorite vacation getaway is:
Answer 1 – Disneyland
Answer 2 – On a secluded beach away from people
Question #1 is based on group 1.
If the user selects answer #1 then (X)Extroversion should = 1 and (I) Introversion = 0.
Each page should show 10 questions with a next button to goto next page of 10 questions. Error message if user trys to goto next page without answering all questions.
Test Results button on last page. New page with results.
Results page has only 4 boxes on the bottom. I have attached a basic html script with 4 questions. This is not how I want it to look but wanted you to get a better idea of what the four result boxes should do after all the questions have been totaled.

I am looking for an admin only script where I can manage people coming into a matrix system (see attached) for me to manually ad to the so-called board using any available position at that time. Once the board is filled it will then move the topmost person out of the matrix and into another board and repeat the same as the first.
There will be a total of 4 boards. The final will end the matrix. So if someone wanted to start again they have to start from the first board.
Bottom line is I don’t want to do this manually and on paper. We have technology so I want to utilize it.

I have transcribed audio and entered the time stamp of where in the audio file each word is said. I need a web page created that mimics the functionality of http://public.youtranscript.com/zs/12.html
The main features are the ability of a user to click on a word in the transcript and have the audio start from that word. I also would like the user to be able to listen to the audio while having the word spoken highlighted.
My server is linux based and I am dealing with MP3 audio files.
