I have a self-hosted WP blog http://www.greenandchic.com and I am having issues with posting wp-polls. I am able to post them in a widget on the side bar, but whenever I post it in the text of a post, the questions doesnt come up. The title of the poll does, but the actual questions/choices does not. They are white.

Currently have a website built with .shtml pages. Planning a new site, and need to make portions require registration to view.

We have 3 main navigation sections planned for the new site, with hundreds of pages within each section. Two of those sections will require a user to sign up with their Name, Title, Affiliation, Number, and an Email (username), and Password (the user should be able to choose their password). Once the form is filled out, they’ll need to verify registration via an email that is sent to their address. Then, when they come back to the site, they can enter their Username (email) and Password, and view the pages.

We may also require the ability to view all the registrants and add/delete them via an admin section. Could this be quoted separately?

We would like to be able to add new static pages, and adjust navigation as needed within these sections. And if a user is not logged in, they should not be able to view the pages, but will be presented with a page requiring registration or to sign in. We would also like a little box for entering username/password in the right hand column of every other page of the site. And when signed in, it will say “Welcome, (Name)”.

That’s the basic concept, and we can provide PDF mock-ups of the registration page, and sign-in box.

I have a template (see attachment) that needs a header. It’s for a real estate construction site (specializing in homes, not commercial properties). We have a rather vast custom built affiliate marketplace that I am migrating to a Joomla + Virtuemart + VM Shopbuilder solution.

The objective of this job is to extend the functionality of a Joomla component called VM Shopbuilder. VM Shopbuilder allows you to easily import affiliate datafeeds directly into Virtuemart and also search the Commission Junction database through their API.

We are looking for a similar functionality, basically duplicating the Commission Junction API feature, that interfaces with Amazon’s API.

Here is a breakdown of what we are looking for:

Amazon API Interface:

1. The ability to build a search query based on one or more of the following variables: keywords, distributor, category, brand, high price, low price, and sku

2. Search results must have the ability to be sorted by: name, price, distributor, brand, and sku

3. Ability to create a new Virtuemart category on the fly to assign the results to as well as the ability to assign the query results to an existing Virtuemart category. (identical to existing CJ interface)

4. Query results are then stored in the VM Shopbuilder “Import Manager” before giving the user the option to add all or just the selected items to the Virtuemart catalog.

Automation Features:

5. All CJ and Amazon search queries must be able to be saved and cataloged for later use.

6. Ability to construct and save search query filters that will allow us to flag and remove certain items from the search results. That way the next time we run the query we don’t have to sort through 10,000 product entries.

7. Ability to run all saved search queries via a cron task.

8. Ability to identify new products in a search result, flag them, and notify web administrator via email. Must be able to filter new products out of the query results from VM Shopbuilder backend.

9. Extend these automation features to the existing Commission Junction interface already in place.

Additionally:

10. Extended product description functionality that will allow us to append a custom description to any item, assign that description to the item and store it in the database. This will be applied to ALL items that are imported with the VM Shopbuilder component, allowing us to maintain our custom description information after any automated product updates or modifications.

Need experienced php/mySQL programmer to help debug a 90% complete website. The design is already done. We have several little issues that need resolved.

I need a script developed that would automatically embed product reviews into my html pages. The process to achieve this is described below in more details. (I’m not an expert; this is what I was told by a computer programmer.) PDG refers to the shopping cart and reviews refer to the product reviews to be inserted.

Part A. Script Development

1. Put AJAX (JavaScript) on the template for the PDG page in question. (See attached html)
2. PDG does its thing and produces the page for display in html.
3. As the page loads, the AJAX makes another call to the server, using the php script, to fetch the desired data – in this case the review(s) associated with the product being displayed on the PDG page.
4. The page, rendered by PDG and enhanced with the data fetched by the AJAX call to the PHP script, is displayed in the browser to the end user.

6) Remove “Start” link and product category (“Telephones”) link.
7) Remove PHPSESSIONID from all links.

I already have a football prediction script in my possession. I need to modify it so that users would now be predicting on horses instead of football teams. In the original script (which I can provide) teams would go head to head and users would predict their score (for e.g. Liverpool 4 – Man Utd 1) and get points based on their results. There could be any number of matches per week.

In the modification that I need you to make, people would instead see a list of horses in a race and they should predict which horses would rank 1st to 3rd. They would then get points based on those predictions. There should be an optional number of horses per race and an optional number of races per day.

As you can see, it’s a very small modification. So don’t waste your time posting excessively high bids.

What I would likeis to be able to search fr what ever product or services in any location and for that list of results be saved as a comma delimited data file so i can use it as a mailing list.

I tested this with several services and product types and noticed most listings have full addresses. Some dont have the street address only the city and state. Some just have a website. But they all have phone numbers.

So I would like the script to pull all listings and then place them in the datafile with the following fields:

Comapny_Name,Street_Address,City,State,Zip,Phone_Number,Website_URL

If any of the fields are missing on the listing, then that field is left blank in the data.

So Lets take the Plumber and Orlando Florida As a sample.

The first 2 listing would be as follows:

A vision board is a where you put pictures of things that you want to have one day in your life to serve the purpose of allowing you to visualise your dreams.

The program would allow you to select one photo as a gif/jpeg/tiff from your harddrive, one at a time and then you would press a button and it would produce your vision board.

Am trying to optimize the script on my site. Pages are loading slowly now, depending on traffic levels. Have not been able to improve things by working at the server level. Need a programmer experienced with Smarty cache. Someone who can rework the smarty set-up so that the static parts of the page are cached using the smarty cache. The majority of the site is static content. Eaccelerator is currently installed. The eaccelerator caches php scripts in memory but not the actual output of the smarty templates. See

Hey, I started a rehabilitation directory (addiction). I’m jump starting it with listings. Need to know if anyone is able to list the rehabs in the USA in these citieis. I have a db with all us states and d.c. filled with all CITIES (not towns or villages) for that state. I would like to fill them up with some rehabs in the appropriate categories. So, I need to know:

B- How much?
C- How long?
