Name In Links Instead Of #’s

ok its simple this is a post i made in the phpbb forum
this is all that i want.
I would like to change my pm links from numbers to names, is this possible?
example
“the link to compose a message to a member (black202) would be:
ucp.php?i=pm&mode=compose&u=131995
but instead it should be the name instead:
ucp.php?i=pm&mode=compose&u=black202
