The process is:
1. Each week, go to my RSS feed page on my website
2. Pick a recent feed article and read the full article(s) that they link to
3. Write a 100% original 500+ word article on the topic using the information in the news articles
4. Pick a search-engine-friendly title for the article (something people are likely to search on)
5. Include two appropriately sized openly published photos from the web in the article, often of the people or the facilities involved.
6. Verify that your article is >500 words and completely original by using copyscape (I will give you access to my account).
7. Upload your article to my joomla website (similar to wordpress or any blog system), and then copy the intro paragraph into the description metatag, and copy keywords into the keyword metatag.

You may quote people, but keep each quotes down to 20 words or less, and try to use shorter versions of quotes than others may be using or break them up different (ie. offerred Mr Smith).

I expect to pay about $3-5 per article for this. All bids are private so please give me info on: (1) Where you live, (2) When you went to high school/college, (3) any prior experience with scientific or political writing. This info is critical to my decision-making process.

This is something that anyone who watches CNN can do, because even if the other articles are technical, I do not want to be technical in our articles. I seek scientific aptitude mostly to make sure that you don’t completely mess up a scientific concept when you put it other words.

Even if this stops at 50 articles, if this works out, we employ dozens of writers for our various web projects, and there will no doubt be other work for excellent writers.

This is a very simple application.

The application will go to a small list of torrent tracking sites and submit a torrent supplied by a user. The application should log into any sites that require a log in and provide a captcha if one is required for the user to fill in. The application would then just submit the torrent with the given information. This will be for only 10-12 sites!

Summary:

This project is a website archiver and spider. This archiver will store full websites it has crawled in our database. It will then crawl each website periodically, check updates to those pages (based upon our archived version), and store any pages with updated information (pages with changes).

Details:

In the database, there will be a list of URLs for the spider. The URLs would be similar to: www.scriptlance.com, www.domain.com.

The spider’s purpose is to crawl each website and retrieve it’s HTML code for replication (similar to archive.org). Every page of the website should be archived (i.e., crawl each page for internal URLs and then log the HTML to the database).

Once a website is fully crawled and archived into the database, subsequent crawls will be for the purpose of evaluating changes. If there is a change to any one of the pages on the site, then the spider will archive the latest version by storing the current HTML code.

The archiver will store the following from each page:

Page Title, Page URL, Date Archived, HTML Code (for the purpose of replication on our website).

Replication:
For our purpose, replication means that we will be able to use the information stored in the database (HTML Code) to show a version of this website to our users. The stored page should look near-exact to what the spider stored. If images are no longer around, that is fine. Take a look at the wayback machine at archiver.org to see what I mean by this.

The project is to design a logo and web layout for a home exchange website. I have a technical guy that will link the site to the cold fusion coding. There fore what I need in this project is an excellent graphic designer and also someone to produce the xhtml and css script for the design.

The key things I need:
- First and foremost I need an excellent graphic designer. I want a new logo created… a logo that simply and cleverly portrays the concept of home exchange holidays.
- I’ll also need the graphic design for the website (home page and 4-6 sub pages). This design can’t be your standard business template. I’m looking for a clever fresh take on the design… a design created from scratch. Examples of designs I like:

We have a big online marketplace for digital goods. We need hundreds of short videos for promoting our portal on video sharing sites. The videos are basically screen recordings of about a min each and will show the viewer what types of files are available with us and how to buy them.

Example- you will open our site in your web browser, search for a keyword (like “italian recipes”) there and get the search results. Open any one link of the search results and show the checkout process how one can buy it. While doing that, you just have to record your screen and narrate the process with your voice.

We will provide the list of keywords to be used while making the videos- One video for one keyword. A sample of keywords to be used are – mp3 converter, pc games, disk recovery software, karaoke music, webmaster tools, etc. (there are 1000s of more kywds).

All the other details about video content and a transcript/ draft for the background narration will be provided by us. Almost all videos will be similar in nature but each time a new keyword is used.

We will pay about $2-$3 for a video and we need around 100 videos a month for now. We will scale this up if the results are good. It should not take more than 5 minutes for you to create a video- 1 minute to record the video and 2-3 minutes to edit/ fine tune that.

You must be familiar with a screen recording software like Camtasia or similar and must have recorded a few videos as a hobby or for projects. You must know how to use the zoom/pan options, audio enhancements and other features of the tool to make good videos. It will be good if you have a sample of videos somewhere online like on Youtube.

You must also have a good verbal fluent English and must be available online on IM daily. Please do not bid if you have not created any videos in your life and have no idea how to do it. Bidders with good feedbacks are preferred. Use the word “VIDEOS” in your bid to let us know you have read the project in detail.

The cart seems to operate fine until you go to checkout, where you then select what shipping you require, however at this point the shipping page appears for a second or so and then you get forwarded to a blank page.

nothing has changed to make this happen. I know this should be a quick fix for an experienced programmer.
