Any experts in reverse proxies out there?

I am not actually sure if this is possible, but if it is I would like to have a PHP script which allows me to set up a simple reverse proxy, by this I mean the following…

- I have an apache web server with mod_proxy installed.
- On that server I host a domain, somedomain.com, and I want to reverse proxy the home page of somedomain.com from another site, orginaldomain.com, ie. somedomain.com will serve the same home page as originaldomain.com with all the links on somedomain.com pointing back to orginaldomain.com, so it is just the home page.

I imagine the PHP script is a single file in which I can configure the domain to be reverse proxied.

Does that make sense? Please hit the PMB if you have questions.

Please note:

- I do not want to set up a frame of orginaldomain.com, I want to set up an actual reverse proxy.

- I’ll be most interested if someone has a working script they can sell me

- If it is possible to develop such a script payment will be via SL escrow only

We have a web banner that is pulling an rss feed from a website.

The banner currently loops and reloads the rss feed.

We need the banner to loop and not reload the rss feed from the website but still display the data that was pulled the first time the rss feed was loaded.

The banner is fully built and operational except we need it edited so that the rss feed is only pulled once through out the animation.

The other site is the “secondary site” and it uses symbolic links to get the files from the “master site”. Both web sites are community membership sites so members can upload, save, and view files from both sites even though the images are always saved to the “master site”.

There are several symbolic links pointing to directories on the “master site”. Someone deleted one of the symbolic links and now the files are being saved directly to the “secondary site” and not the “master site”. I need you to create a new symbolic link to save the files to the “master site”.
