Upgrading Joomla 1 To 1.5

Dear everyone,
I have joomla 1 connected with vb forum, and want to upgrade it to 1.5 and still be connected to the forum.
and I have costume docman so don’t want to lose it.
the job I wish can be done fast with a price not high.
