Phpmotion V3 Customization

need simple basic feature added to the latest phpmotion script. right now the script has an upload feature and for an additional fee you can purchase a youtube auto embedder. though its missing the most basic feature that other scripts have. i need to be able to embed videos by copy and pasting the <embed></embed> code from other sites and manually upload a thumb image. this feature is available in embedmax script, mediawatch script and various others but not in phpmotion.
it should work smoothly, the thumbs should display properly all over the site, loading videos should have no issue in size and dimension etc. the customization should work fine without disturbing all other functionality.
