Hi, I own a php download script that runs on a mysql backend.The script sends encypted download links or a file fetch option via a form when a buyer pays using Paypal. The problem I have is that large zip files 170mb plus won’t download correctly or will run in a loop and error. I think that only one file needs amending and should be a quick fix. Smaller files 10mb etc work ok, not sure this is a server or script problem? Thanks

Very simple — I have a manuscript formatted for submission to publisher. It is divided into sections (I’ve forgotten how I did it!) so that a certain header appears for so many pages, then a different header for the rest. This is fine. However, I’m attempting to copy and paste the entire manuscript into a 6×9 word doc template so that I can have a self published printing done via lulu.com — the SECOND section of the book pastes fine, but the first section retains it’s original 8.5 x 11 format — so the “project” is that I need you to take my manuscript and paste it into my 6×9 template succesfully so the entire thing comes out 6×9 — this is something you either know how to do and can do in 15 seconds for a quick ten bucks, or you don’t . PLEASE don’t bid if you don’t absolutely know you can do this. I’m in a hurry.

All I need is for the current XML/RSS file to refer to another XML/RSS file. In the second XML/RSS file, I want the user to be able to make a selection from a list of presented restaurants. So currently, the above process takes place in 3 steps. The new code would add another user step — selecting from among a list of restaurants. The fourth step would simply be a numbered or lettered list of restaurants coming up after the “Area of City” selection is made. So after the user selects an Area of the City (eg. 3. Dtown West Loop)the consumer would then receive another sms/text that would present a list of restaurants within that city location (eg. 1,2,3,4,5 or a,b,c,d,etc. with the restaurant name and a description. Once the consumer selects a restaurant from the list the XML/RSS file would then display the resulting deal description/coupon code # for that particular restaurant.

I have attached the relevant files that makes this work now. Attached Files include:
1.) index.cmrl file (this triggers the initial rss/xml file)
2.) example_chicagorest.rss (triggers city area and deal description)

After this is completed, I would assume that there would be a third rss/xml file that is triggered that brings up a numbered or lettered list of restaurants that allows for the all important step of choosing one of the restaurants and then receiving back the final Text/SMS with the deal coupon code.

This will work on any cell phone.

To review, from a users perspective the whole process will work as follows:

1.) Texts in artistdiscovery rest deals to 368266
2.) Receives back text, then chooses Area of the City (eg. 1,2,etc.)
3.) List of Restaurants texted back, user chooses one (eg. 1,2,3 etc.)

I am looking to build a quick prototype in Flash that lets you order images in a new way:

The prototype should consist of one file, ActionScript 3 (could be Flex, if you are so inclined) and should allow for the following:

- 10 pictures are read from an XML file
– the XML file only contains the link to the picture (http:// link), no meta information

- the pictures are placed on the table in a random fashion

- the pictures are draggable but can also be thrown (attach some kind of “weight” to the pictures and keep that in account when you throw them, do not use a real physics engine)

- the pictures magnify by 15% when you mouseover them

- the pictures can be flipped around (no visual feedback, just change it to a white rectangle with some text inside) when you click on the lower right corner

- if you put one picture on top of another, the bottom pictures skips away, meaning they are not stackable

- pictures can be stored in categories
– to this end, there should be a semi transparent bar at the top that lets me create category-labels
– these labels are large rectangular boxes where I can drag pictures into
– if I click on an X in the upper right corner of the label box, the box gets closed.
