I need a holding site for a hostel business which I’m opening next year.
What we really need to do is put the website up, covering off the same information that this one does – http://www.indiahousehostel.com/index.html
Such as:
Accommodation (although this will have to be more description and perhaps some vague pictures rather than detailed pics of the rooms – as they are not ready yet)
Location (this will be a major section as we are using the this area of London as our unique selling point. Rather than setting out the precise address like the site above does, it should simply give the location as being Brick Lane and focus on giving an overview of the area (Brick Lane and Shoreditch) and what its about (food, fashion, music, art etc..), and the fact its in zone 1 and near Liverpool Street station – IF YOU CAN CONVEY THE VIBE IN THE DESIGN, I CAN TAKE CARE OF THE WORDS/COPY!
Reservations (this should list prices and have a simple call back form. I may also include a number to log calls on – will supply)
The site http://www.indiahousehostel.com/index.html should give you a feel for what I’m thinking.
I think that an email capture form being constant on all pages is a good idea. The whole site must drive people to send an email to enquire about the hostel – we must record demand and capture contact details. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT – EMAIL CAPTURE.
Also important is that although the site above contains the right type of information, I actually hate the design of it!
This is the closest thing in London to what I’m thinking of – i.e., a ‘party time’ hostel. However, the one in brick lane would be smaller, more personable, edgier and cooler.

Some Brick Lane/Shoreditch sites/videos – this will give you some idea of attitude/design perhaps….
http://www.youtube.com/watch?gl=US&v=ycfJo9439eU – this place has exactly the kind of vibe I want to convey – bohemian, cool, buzzing….

Thanks! Please forgive the lack of technical specification in this brief – beyond my knowledge, open to suggestions as to how best achieve my goal.
