Magento – Invoice Pdf Fix
Magento generates an invoice in PDF format which looks bad and is about 1.4 megabytes in size. The logo for the default PDF is distorted and too small. Editing it personally just made a mess. It also pulls the logo from the default theme folder. We have multiple websites and want the file logo.gif location to be relative to each theme folder, so this template will update itself automatically. I’ve been told magento will overwrite the pdf files everytime there is an update, so we’d lik to make sure that doesn’t happen if there is a fix for it. If not, we’ll save the files and just make sure we replace them manually. In short:
We need someone who can edit the php files so we can
1)Cleanly show our logo at the top of the page along with our address, phone number, etc (should be pulled dynamically from Magento info) and website, contact e-mail addresses.
2) Be able to print out an attractive invoice, which means you must enlarge the font size and change the font style to Times New Roman or Helvetica
3) Reduce the PDF file size to a normal sub 100kb file.
