Highlight Current Page In Css

Need CSS solution to highlight the current page on a WordPress blog (each page now has different hover color; current-page color should be same as hover color).
Implementation must be pure CSS only, absolutely no php or javascript.
Blog pages currently pass W3C validation and must do so after you’ve finished.
Current-page color must display correctly in IE6, IE7, FF3, and Safari.
Need this done right away. Payment when project is 100% complete. No exceptions!
